Hurricane Katrina Blog Relief Day
Please take the time to donate to the charity of your choice. I happen to support the Red Cross. You can also call them at 1 800 Help Now. And just in case this feels far away, I would just like to point out that I have friends in New Orleans that I have yet to hear from, and of course our favorite little mudbug has family in the affected area.
I also know that NBC will be hosting a telethon for Katrina relief on Friday at 8 PM. Also I hear that MTV will be hosting their own benefit telethon on Sept. 10th.

Thanks for posting on this from so far away. We are doing what we can in Houston, but at times it is very disheartening. This is so sad! Please keep supporting the Red Cross - they are saving lives.

You are welcome. That area is my home. I have family in San Antonio, friends in Houston, and spent I don't know how many crazy nights in New Orleans.
